I liked it for the most part b/c it actually got me to "gasp" a couple times. if anyone knows me well enough, they know that most movies dont particularly move me in any way. However the over all idea behind the movie wasn't up to my expectations. anyone agree or disagree?
Yeah I saw "forgotten" as well... and honestly, I thought it kinda sucked. I mean, I liked the IDEA of the movie, I think it had great potential... but then the way that it all came around was definitely a little lame. That's all I'm going to say since people may read this without having seen it..I don't want to wreck it. I'm really critical when it comes to movies though - other people might enjoy it. I just thought they didn't develop it as well as they could have.
I agree that it could have been a great story, but it turned out pretty lame. I guessed what it would turn out to be before I went to see the movie, though.
I've heard it was pretty bad, what was it like? They interviewed Julian Moore (she was in it right) early in the morning one day on a enws show, and they tried to make it look exciting, but it wasnt
I thought "The Forgotten" was entertaining, but the script got hit with a stupid stick a couple of times and an obvious stick a couple more. I was mostly disappointed in that I figured out, at least in a general way, who the bad guys were really early in the movie. After that, the rest was just special effects. Julianne Moore did a great job; everyone else was kind of blah. Good enough for the dollar theatre, but don't pay full price.
I was disappointed. There's a certain special effect that is repeated, and it was all I could do to keep from laughing out loud.
