im wondering if anyone knows if this chemical is more similiar to Adderall or Cocaine and if anyone has used it?
It seems like it would be similar to ritalin (methylphenidate). Ritalin in high doses is said to be like cocaine but longer and its kinda similar to adderall (amphetamines) in effects also
Focalin XR is a time-release form of the D isomer of methylphenidate. It's the stronger, more recreational isomer. dextro-methylphenidate. It's a highly complex version of amphetamine, but bears more similarity to cocaine than amphetamine in my experiences. Lasts like 3-4 hours before a pretty bad crash that is completely absent with amphetamine. On average amphetamine lasts for 6 hours if you don't redose, and the comedown is slow and steady.
I think focalin is supposed to be equivalent to twice the amount of methylphenidate or 1 mg focalin=2 mg ritalin. Nasty chemical if I may say. Not meant to be in our brains.
^ Yeah. It works the same way as the D and L isomers of amphetamine. d-amphetamine is twice as potent for weight as racemic (dl-amphetamine). The same applies to methylphenidate.
Does this 'pretty bad crash' occur with therapuetic doses? Or are we only talking about recreational dosing?
of methylphenidate or d-methylphenidate? To get a high I would usually start with 20mg as a base and use 10mg boosters whenever necessary. I was doing 40 and then even 100mg in a session before the bottle ran out. With d-methylphenidate, cut those numbers in half.
Well if you have d-methylphenidate than I'd start with 20mg, add on until you feel like you're at a good level.
