Obviously. You need to do some research on what conditions on site will be. Your phone might be useful for a while as a flashlight till the battery runs out.

I will, cell phones dont even make good flashlights.

 

Thats no good? I think cell phones would take away from some of the major concepts of the gathering.

Yeah, RIGHT!! First time I saw someone receive a wireless call at a gathering was way back in the mid-90's, lots of the l'il Fundamentalists started whining about UnRainbow like behavior....till they found out it was the weed run calling about directions.

Oh, yeah, Veggie, regional gatherings are often less remote than the Annual Gathering.

 

i wish i was able to go. i picked up a parasite from a festival. Plus, I can't afford it.

 

If its you're first gathering be sure to pack useful and unique things to trade. You'll be surprised what a couple of cans of coke or a lighter will get you on day 4 of the gathering. And bring bulk food to donate to the kitchens, but leave the cellphone in your car.

 

There is a place in the Gathering called Cell Phone Rock, kinda by parking, where cell phones work.
