ok in about a week my family (consisiting of a 3yr old and a 1 yr old) will be driving up to wisconsin to be in my mother's wedding. we are not driving the full 15 hours straight we are gonna make a pitstop after 4 or 5 hours to see my fiances gramma and spend the night and next day with her and drive all night the rest of the way. I need some ideas to keep them happy and occupied if and when they wake up (we will be driving all night). Also any idea on how to make the carseat a lil more comfortabler to sleep in. thoughts ideas are all welcomed and appreciated. thanks FF
I was totally opposed to the idea at first, but a portable DVD player is worth it's weight in gold on long car trips. Add a stack of fun/educational/novel dvds and you are set for a while. Colorwonder markers and paper are great too. They only draw on the special paper so you don't have to worry about ink all over the place.
