So I dont have much time at the moment, but I wanted to share an experience from yesterday.
I joined a group meditation session with the entire focus on the Ajna Chakra. It is a 2 hour meditation that takes place every Sunday from 7pm-9pm. I know one of the regulars very well, and I know the host well enough, and this was my girlfriends first experience with it.
Anyway during the meditation, every time our focus would shift, we would mentaly hear Om and then return our focus to the chakra. As I would do this though, I felt an instant connection with the universe, and the life sound of Om started as a rapidly skipping beat, which would then speed up faster and faster until it blended into the One sound, and instantly I would be in a trance in complete harmony.
The heart beat of existance brought me to a higher level mind than I have experienced in quite awhile. Im still flying high with Love and Light.
I will post more later when I have time.
    God bless everyone!
    Namaste

I wish I could do things like that. It seems no one around here is interested in these things though.

You should start your own group Joshua! It's the simplest thing really. And if no one is interested just start daily meditation yourself, naturally, you will attract like minded folk.
I mean the trip alone to get to this group is several hours of trains, subways, and walking, they dont live very close. But when you know that it is the right thing to do, it just happens.
Try this kind of meditation, with just focusing on the Ajna chakra, or the 3rd eye between your eyebrows. Just sit there and put your awareness on that spot, and that's it. If your attention starts slipping and thoughts go wild, say Om either out loud or silently and let it bring your higher awareness into focus. That's all we do as a group, and it get's less and less difficult to silence the mind and stay in that state the more you practice.
You should also try looking online, I KNOW for a fact that there are goups like this in nearly every major city, Im sure Savannah has at least one :D

Now that you're working with the Ajna prabhu, you should begin working with the other cakras as well, so as to induce the Devi to awaken from them.
Use Bhuta Shuddi and the associative bija mantras for the lower five cakras, just as you use Om for the Ajna.

Hello Bhairavaji! My birthday was yesterday, and I was having a great time, and as I was cooking dinner I noticed my copy of the book you published sitting at my desk. Im giong to pick it back up again tonight and start off again with the sadhana. I forget the other mantra associations so I need to refresh my memory.
Much blessing's and thank you for all of your support over the past year since I've known you :D

    Namaste John,
It's cool my friend, Shiva is looking through your eyes. I'm always available for any thing. I can give other guidings for the sadhana, and always remember that a sadhana is performed as a sacrifice of finite individual self unto the Paramesvara Self. This offeratory linking of intent helps alot. Namaste Love Ananda Service
