Ok. I met my recent ex online, it was my first serious relationship in a while and I have never dated anyone online. So, we dated for a few weeks to get to know each other. He seemed completely "normal", compared to most guys I had dated. We made it official, we exchange "I love yous". Then the very next day, it all goes down hill from there....way...way....down hill. Prepared? Ok. The next day he tells me the night before when he kissed me and confessed his love for me and his desire to be with me forever, that he was thinking about this girl he was crazy about a while ago...the whole night. He thought about her when he kissed me, etc. He reassured me he wanted me and he was being paranoid. This went on for 3 days, including him telling me he was sitting at home on his computer comparing our pictures. He said he was still sure about me. He then proceeds to tell me he cheated on the only 2 serious girlfriends he had, then went on to try and justify it. Also saying "I can't see the future so I can't say I won't cheat again, but what I can tell you is I would never ever cheat on you." huh?! Over the next 5 months he confessed he was confused about his sexuality and might want to have me watch him and another guy so he could be sure. Or that he could go try stuff and come back to me. Yet this whole time, he was talking about marrying me and children, etc. The straw that broke the camels back was 3 weeks ago when he joked that he had raped someone and then got mad because I said I wouldn't stay with him if that had happened, he swears it was a joke. He then told me he thinks of guys randomly when we would be intimate, yet supposedly I was the most attractive person he had been with (he was a decent looking guy too). This isn't some 16 year old, hes 26 with a college degree and he came from a fairly good background. Needless to say, he blames all of this on OCD and anxiety which he obsessively drinks to alleviate. He could not understand why I had no trust for him and now hes upset at me for saying I loved him and now obviously he doesn't think that was ever true because I ended it. I know I did the right thing, I just had to share my story. This will go in the books as the strangest guy i've ever dated. Comments Welcome .
I would just ignore him, hes a dork, big time. he needs to grow up and stop joking because they're not funny. yeah you did the right thing. silly weirdo...
This guy sounds like he has some issues that he needs to deal with. You just need to forget him. You did the right thing by ending the relationship.
You definitely did the right thing, just stay strong and stay the hell away from that dude. You gotta kiss A LOT of frogs before you get a prince....
no no no no, hes not a good match fo rya. hes telling you taht to your face, you just seem to be trying to ignore it. avoid!
