Can't find naptha, what would be a good NP substitute?

I'm planning on performing a DMT extraction from mimosa hostilis, using vinegar as an acid and NaOH as a base, but couldn't find naptha. What would be a good, easy-to-find and not-too-volatile substitute?

So far, I've found:

Xylene but DMT is supposed to have a relatively low affinity for Xylene from what I've read.

Ether but it's a little too much of a fire hazard for my taste.

DCM but it sinks to the bottom and that would be hard as hell to work with.

And chloroform, which I doubt I could find.

Anything else I could use, or am I stuck working with these?

They sell the 1 gallon Coleman Camp Fuel (like the pic above) at Dick's Sporting Goods.

That's the only place I found it in Tampa, FL.

But call all hardware stores and sporting goods stores.

 

what do you tell the hardware stores. if thay sell naptha.

 

I know about those. I've actually got most of a gallon at home. My roommate keeps telling me that those aren't naptha anymore, and since he's putting up the cash, I've gotta find something else.

Of course its NP.

I just pulled off a ~6 gram MHRB extraction 4 weeks ago.

Using Ron. Lighter fluid.

 

About how much MHRB did you use?

And yeah, I believe that it'll work all day. But it's gonna take more than that to convice him.

 

I can even get it from the supermaket from the bottle shop.
But if you goin there saying that you would like to buy naptha there not
going to know what your talking abut.
