I guess I have to spell everything out for you...

I asked you if you read books because your reading comprehension skills are extremely flawed. You are way too gullible and cannot distinguish obvious humor and satire from serious discussion. A well-read person can easily distinguish the two, which is why you are the only person who's jumping on my Darfur comment. Everyone else is just a tad brighter and realize that it was a joke. I can't imagine how someone would not realize that it was a joke, taken the context that it was said within.

My suggestion to you is this:

Log off this forum and shut down your computer. Pick up a good subtly funny book. I'd suggest some Vonnegut, Heller, Bulgakov, Bukowski, or even Cervantes. Read the book until your eyes bleed. Try to grasp the concepts and irony of the book. Read another book, and then another.

Come back to this forum when you feel like you're ready to participate in discussion without sounding like a fool.

Anyhow... all the Johnny Rebel made me think of something that happened to a friend of mine a couple of days ago... pretty damn freaky story. (Happened in Arkansas)

My friend was visiting him mom who lives a good hour away. They drove to the liquor store to buy some beer because a couple of family friends were coming over. Him mom lives in a dry county, so they have to drive to liquor store on the county line. The store is pretty big, but it's in a pretty desolated location.

Anyhow... they buy their beer, go out, put it in the trunk... then they see a truck roll in. This big fat redneck lookin' fella is driving, obviously way too drunk for his own good. A Mexican comes out of the store, and the redneck guy starts shouting "Get out of this country, go back to Mexico!" and such other garbage. The Mexican obviously does not understand English and just stands there baffled. The redneck guy jumps out of his truck, and jumps on the Mexican, and starts punching him. There's an even bigger redneck guy sitting in the cab of the truck, also drunk, just looking at it and laughing. The redneck guy gets off the Mexican, looks at my friend, and shouts "White Power, yeah!". My friend, being a tad of a tough guy, almost instinctively says "Yeah, more like white trash..." The redneck guy looks at him, and charges his mom, punching my friend's mom in the face. My friend punches the guy in the nose, and he falls down... but at the same time the bigger guy gets out of the cab and before my friend knows it he gets punched straight in the face. The punch breaks his glasses, and the glass goes into his brow, and he is blinded with blood. At that time the store owner comes out with a shotgun, and the two rednecks jump in their truck and haul ass. My friend's mom manages to get the license plate number... and they file a police report. I sure do hope that the police catch the fucker...

I was not taking this thread too seriously, to be honest.
But, it is possible to make a fairly harmless thought into a more serious one.
So, when somebody is being serious, I'll respond in a serious way.
When somebody is being funny, I'll respond in a funny way.
Your comment may well have been made in jest, but, it just was not funny to me.
You can't brush aside comments like you made and claim it was meant in jest.
No amount of reading I do or do not do, is going to make it funny to me.
I have the right to find your comment offensive, if I find it offensive.
In my book, it was offensive.
You still have not explained how I should find it funny, or how humerous it was supposed to be.
It is very easy to make flippant comments, heck, I do that all the time.

There is way too much porn on the net, and it's all boobs and pussy.

It's catering to some kind of a foul and vile male audience that I find it to be of the utmost filthy, loathsome and despicable kind of pornography that calls itself a legitimate industry.

Most of the pornography that I have seen online is questionable at best, especially the legality of the participants, the acts involved, and not to mention all the behind the scenes making of the photos/videos are totally unclear. It's so cheap to go online and download free porn, that I question why it is so.

Actually some of the world's biggest crimes and atrocities could stem from sexual ineptitude /issues, its been argued.
