Please not I am talking about washing my 2-inch hopefully to be dreaded hair amd not actual dreadlocks. Is it okay to use bronners everyday? or atleast use water?

I Had Dreads Ten Years Ago And I Washed Them Everyday. It Doesn't Hurt Them.

this is true. i started my locks only a few weeks ago and before that i washed my hair pretty much everyday. but then i switched to bronners when i started my locks and and my hair doesn't feel like it gets dirty as fast, i think it's because it doesn't leave any residue. it used to feel oily after not washing every day, but now i only feel the need to every 3-4 days (that is unless i get sweaty or whatever during the day). it's kind of ironic how most shampoos make your hair get dirtier faster. i don't think i'll ever switch back from bronners, dreads or no dreads :)

    Agreed.

I dont have full dreads yet either. But im just washing once every other day or so with my dr b peppermint. It seems to work fine, although for some reason if i go a little excess on dumping the bronner/water on my head it seems to have the effect of a normal shampoo (loosen up my hair). I realized i just need to take it lighter on the wash.

But what ever, i love bronners. as shampoo ADN body soap.

Dish Soap Is Far Too Harsh For Your Hair--I'd Recommend Not Using It.

yeah... dish soap should remain the domain of oily beach rocks and people with lice. and i say that because if you use vaseline to get rid of lice you have to use dish soap to get it out. :)

bronners is awesome! i try to wash my hair every other day or less... because i don't want it getting super dry or to mess with my locks too much. but since it isn't like shampoo and full of chemicals, it cleans easily and doesn't leave your hair oily the next day.

I would say to use Dr. B's less and less often as your dreads start forming. I was washing with it every day in the beginning, and I wasn't rinsing it out well enough and it left oily crap in my hair. not cool.
