Hi I am lindsay and I am new here. I started my dreads a few weeks ago and I want to finish them tonight (was waiting to do the top till after I got a new job). The only thing I noticed was how much shorter it is. My hair was mid back and the dreadies are about 4 inches long....is that normal? Hey and welcome! Yeah it's normal...actually pretty much everything they do on their own is normal 'cause it's natural. They can refuse to grow and even shrink for a while and start growing out of nowhere and so on...it's all just one big process, you'll learn to love it! Peace
thanks I am finishing them right now not doing them as tight so they are a little longer since i know how my hair is and it locks fast anyway
