    no offense meant but,,

if your big girl enough to go to the gathering by yourself, you should be big girl enough to look at a map of wyoming then cross reference it with the bus routes and make that decision on your own..

if nothing else you could at least be big girl enough to go through this forum and find that information as it is already posted in a link here..

i imagine rock springs is the closest station..
but once again,,that should be your responsibility to find out rather than counting on someone to look it up for you..

Harshly expressed, perhaps, but true. Your responsibility to do your own research, just like it was Rainbow scout's responsibility to file Freedom of Information Act request for Non-Commercial Group Use Permits granted for Bridger-Teton NF for June-July. Never trust some other idiot to do the job right. The only idiot you can trust is yourself.

btw,, i read the disclaimer about the road from rock springs to the site..
how far is it from rock springs to the site? sounds like a lovely drive.. lol

since im not going i dont feel like im responsible for looking it up myself .. ;)

The way hippie hillbilly expressed himself may have been harsh (if you know him you should know thats his style and not take it personally) buts its true, I dont want to see you going unprepared. Remember to bring plenty of maps of all the states you are going through your not familiar with.

Jackson or Rock Springs is where you should take the bus too. Atleast from my understanding (mine is not the greatest, my original plan was to take a bus to Jackson but now I have a ride all the way)

Also its a good idea to study and memorize maps. Just in case somehow you lose everything. A compass could be very beneficial if you ever got lost.

Good luck and hope to see you there. (even though we wont know if we do meet each other lol) :) My first gathering too BTW.
