^ not at wal-mart.... Jack links are like $2 something and in other places its like $4 or more. I actually like the chicken teiriaki ones makes good soups and stews.. Already cooked.. But I prefer Whitetails jerky. Since I get that for free all year round.
Is there any way to try deer jerky without murdering a deer? I'd like to try, but I don't hunt. Plus, I live in the OC, so we only have possums, coyotes, and crows.
Tranquilise a deer, butcher a little slice of it's hind quarter and then let it go. Spice and dry the meat and voila.
I don't think southern cali has many deer. And Ive never seen venison for sale. Besides, if I'm seen hunting with a tranq gun, won't some real hunter kick my ass and take my lunch?
KC has EVERYTHING to do with it. KC = Kansas City, Missouri Although KC Masterpiece is like THE shittiest BBQ in Kansas City, it somehow is the best known. Gates has 100x better BBQ sauce than any I have EVER tried. Arthur Bryant's is just bad ass cause of the sandwiches. And nothing is better than Smokehouse for when you are going to a big family get-together
I've always been scared of Beef Jerky. I would see those packages of meat in the store and get very confused as to who could see that and want to eat it, or be like "Im in the mood for some jerky tonight" haha, but I've never been a fan of meat and have never thought that meat could be some kind of snack.
I don't like jerky that much, used to love it, lost a bunch of teeth and it's just not the same anymore!
Ramona, try Buffalo Jerky. It's like crack. It's soooo damn good! I used to get mine at the Buffalo Ranch down by my grandpa's, but I think they are selling the place. I need to go stock up on some, lol.
Nah its good stuff, i even really like conveiniance store Jerky, i use to eat it all the time when i was working.
