Yeah, the psycho who killed children and other innocents in Oklahoma, not the nice sailor who was kicked out of the Navy 'cause he was gay. That Timothy McVeigh was a nice, well-adjusted young man.

I grew up with rifles, and while in the service collected handguns. Nothing quite as efficient and ugly as the modern weaponry. We still had wood on our weapons (how quaint - but the victims were still dead).

I carried a .38 cal. S&W revolver while a cop in New Orleans. Again, quaint and lacking the firepower that cops now have to keep up with the sociopaths out there who get military weapons to compensate for other inadequacies.

However, the point I am making is that I never had to kill another person either while in the military or as a cop. I feel lucky to not have had to make that decision and only a fool or sociopath would revel in the thought of taking another persons' life.

BTW, that pic does not disturb me. Like I said I have handled lethal weapons before, both for their aesthetics and for their function. Let's hope this kid is just immature and wanted to get a rise out of all the peaceniks on this site by posting his pic and brash statement.
