So, if somebody has very recently become single, how long should you wait before you jump on her/him?

you are already too late. you have to start hitting on her while she is still with the other guy, because women generally won't break up with someone unless there is another guy already lined up for her. thus, she may appear to be recently single, but she's actually just in a commitment transition

Umm hmmm it depends on how serious the relationship was. But I usually don't go after guys. Takes too much effort and not really worth it.

 

Don't wait for too long, or someone else might jump on them.
