So my friend was chillin in a parking lot, and he just made a sale. Then some dude comes up to the car and asks if my friend has any bud. He says yeah, he gets in the car, and he tells him that hes a cop. He hands over all the bud (3 oz), and takes down all of his information. He says stay there or the cops will come after him to his house and he'll get a warrant. I'm pretty sure no badge was shown either. Now I'm thinking it might've been some dude just robbing him, but I'm skeptical about that. But my real question is, would this be considered entrapment? The cop pretty much set him up, and I was trying to clear that up so he could bring it up if he has to go to court.
your boy was had, that guy wasnt a cop, you must show a badge, you should report that, impercenating a police officer is a serious felony, we cant have criminals running around out there
Lol, I found out today for a fact that it wasn't a cop. I was telling everyone it wasn't, but they didn't believe so the power of group mentality fell over me. But the dudeg's friend told me that it wasn't a cop and that he got played but it sucks because that 3 oz was fronted to him, so now he owes a lot of money.

False. That is not entrapment. That kid was willing to sell drugs...entrapment only applies when the cop traps you into doing something you wouldn't otherwise do.
why you would ever let someone you don't know in your car is beyond me, and then just hand them 3 oz of bud because they say there a cop. Why wouldnt you ask to see a badge, if it was a real cop they would call for backup not tell you to wait there and then leave. haha
