Can anyone recommend a good song/band/album that's really psychedelic...I'm having a 60's party in a month-ish....I really like Strawberry Alarm Clock and have already worn though all my Beatles music...anything really cool?

there was a hendrix album redone (forget name) and eric clapton redid purple haze. i am no clapton fan but that song is pretty damn killer...both off your ass and straight faced!

I am also a huge Zeplin fan and santana has some cool guitar stuff when tripping.

I just listened to Lateralus stoned for the first time... I saw the universe being created, it was the most electric thing I've ever seen

 

New riders of the purple sage. Badass hippy band. I was rocking out to them dancing like never before last weekend (at a cncert not alone in my house lol) .

 

ive seen them before! they really do make you boogie.....

 

Into The Electric castle by Ayreon is prety damn psychedelic.
And nearly anything by Gong, although YOU, Angel's Egg and Camembert Electrique are the best albums, I think.
