I watched it for the first time a year or so ago, on TCM. Was good.

it's another one of those movies that i've been meaning to watch for basically my entire life, but just haven't for some reason. like the godfather...

speaking of movies, these commercials for the love guru are starting to truly piss me off...

i wonder that about so many movies...

in this case, i think mike myers is the first problem, followed by a poor writing staff... plus they went and casted justin timberlake to top it all off...

Aw dude, you have to see the Godfather. Even if you don't like it, you should still see it several times because by the time you get to my age, every guy you know will be throwing quotes from it into the conversation every 5 minutes. You'll have to be able to keep up.

And hey, you might end up like me, watching it about once every 3 months and with no plans to stop. :cheers2:

I used to love Mike Myers. He was great on SNL. But it seems like a lot of comedy actors (and other famous people) are selling out these days.

yeah, he was pretty funny way back in the day... i'm sure once you do the volume of work he has, you start to run out of fresh things to do... not to mention the obvious selling out, which hurts because shitty movies pay more, and because as famous people become more rich and famous they become less in touch with their fans and probably even start to believe that people like what mtv says they do...

People should realize when they're tapped out and find some other kind of work. Just accept that they don't have anymore to offer and hope that people will still appreciate the good work they've done.

I've been wanting to go to the Devil's Tower in Wyoming for the longest time but it's hard to plan a vacation around it.

I guess I'll just wait until I retire in about 30 years, and then visit every national park and monument at my leisure (with the exception of Glacier National Park which will have dropped it's sir name by that time)

For some reason I never saw this movie. The sad part is, I've had a copy on VHS growing up, and another on DVD when they came out, but never got around to watching it. And I even wanted to! and still didnt. That is a close encounter of the Lazy kind
