All I do is change these damn things. My remote mouse. My remote control for my T.V. My watch. My clock. Everything runs on these damn things. They are taking over the world. They last like three weeks and it's time to change them. They are evil.

    Peace

Batterys are great, wrap em up in tin foil, wait a day, and throw em at things you don't like.

I give you credit for using a word like revolt (re-volt) when talking about rechargeable batteries. :)

could be worse, could be batteries not included. YES you could be stuck in a shitty b movie about cutesy robots, of course the cute ones are just there to set you at ease, untill skynet sends the fuckin terminator to grind your bones to paste. HEY but thats ok you could out smart it, hell ed furlong did, and surely you are smarter than ed furlong.

I know what you mean. My cassette recorder and player also function on batteries, so does my mp3 player, my digital camera, all the clocks in the house and also all the watches... wow... yes, my tv remote control as well... where are we going? They should invent something more comfortable...

It is so WORTH it to bu energizer batteries, i swear, the small pack lasts soo much longer than those huge off brand dollor store packs-

Some really good rechargeables are also nice,as far as not changing as often- some of the newer battery opperated stuff I've had (digi cam ,mouse) even recommend s using rechargeable batteries-because they are such a power sucker. You stuff could just be dying though.. as in your remote itself could be effing up, and sucking all the battery power.

I have less, and less things anymore that aren't rechargeable.I think my tv remote, and some of the kids toys(tho, I usually try to avoid annoying toys that would use batts) are about the only thing left that i use batteries for.

his chick is probably using them in her box to entertain herself and sneaking out and stealing the remote batteries and such and replacing them with her used up batteries.

silver, have you considered buying her a kickstart or a model that plugs into the wall?

You're killing me. Did you talk to my chick ? Yes she steals things. My favorite belt was missing the other day. she was wraped up in it. and she some how hooked batteries up to it. Geeez I gotta to talk to her. As soon as I let her out of her box that is.

    Peace

I bought a XBOX360 the other day, and I could get a deal on a used one with a wireless controller. I remember my friends tell me the batteries always run out on those things, so I thought about getting a charge pack or something, but I just bought extra batteries. It's been about a month now, and I still havent had to change them.

I've never been a big fan of batteries, so If I have anything that requires them, it is only the bare essentials, with a few luxuries.

Is there really any need for a wireless mouse? Is there really any need for clocks in every room? Is there really any need for the majority of battery operated devices that are buzzing away, everyday. NO NO NO. Rationalise folks, rationalise.

Are most devices AAA or still AA , in America?
