Ever had the privilege of passing on your weed wisdom? Triumphs? Failures? Teaching a willing and eager student the techniques and variations for consuming Miss Mary Jane. I've had one success. A friend of mine in H.S. was a weed virgin, had the normal apprehensive attitude of anyone who only knows what the government tells them. I told her the truth, and convinced her to smoke. she, like me, was an angry person with family issues, and just overall unhappy but sweet and kind underneath the façade. I felt that she needed to smoke seeing as how it helped me sooooo much. smoked her out for about six months, taught her to roll perfect even tight joints, how to pack bowls, clean weed, eyeball sacks, cleaning pieces, rolling blunts, anything and everything i knew. She moved to Cali after H.S., and hadnt talked to her in about five years. she found me on MySpace, and she made some offhand comment about smoking to the dome, and turns out shes an avid weed smoker. funny as Hell, super cool, super sexy and happy.. Im so proud of her! I did a good job!
I keep trying to explain to people I know about the spirtual side to drugs, expanding your mind, they just think I'm crazy, oh well. =/ I've smoked alot of people out for the first time, they all turn out as fuck ups Lol.
yeah, Ive seen some friends of friend take it to an unhealthy level and delve into much harder drugs. Its incredibly sad.
i have a friend who turned his cousin into a stoner. he showed me a pic of him and he was wearing a tie daye and grew his hair out. it ws pretty funny cause my friend was so happy that he turned to the green side
i've gotten so many people high for their first time haha. one time i smoked out some kid with no hands...he was really cool. he could hold the bowl and the carb n shit with no hands too, i just had to light it for him...it was pretty cool.
its not sad... its the "gateway" side of it.. don't argue me because im not gonna argue this point.. i look at both sides of the spectrum to have a biased view on marijuana... helps you defend your beliefs easier.. but anyways... the gateway side of it.. some people are just looking for release.. and you toke them up for their first time and they go thats nice... what else can do this or be similar to this.. and they go onto other things.. dont understand that these other drugs are not like marijuana and get hooked on something harder instead... so many kids think that pills are just nothing but fun no harm.. but i'd say 75% of the pills favored by kids are benzos and opies.. and both are addictive.. i've heard that a bad benzo addiction is worse and more deadly to kick than a heroin addiction
I started smoking before a lot of my friends started smoking, so I've been teaching friends the greatness of weed since as long as I can remember. My first year of college, my roommate was real straight laced and didn't do much but sit in the dorm room. I introduced her to marijuana (bad idea in the long run) and taught her a lot of things about it, and now she smokes ALL the time. I just taught my best friend yesterday how to roll a joint in a joint roller, also
My good friend in high school i introduced to weed is a college drop out and living in her folks basement. Another friend I smoked up for the first time is a suicidal coke head. Then, a friend in college that I smoked with her for her first and only time, she remains to be an incredible artist and feels that weed would help her be more creative but does not think it's worth it for her.
I have actually never smoked with a first timer. I have a friend in asheville though that wants me to take her weed virginity!
Just to voice my opinion on the matter of the "gateway" aspect of marijuana......I think the only thing that makes it a "gateway drug" is the fact that it's illegal. The fact that it's illegal causes people to come in contact with people who are selling other drugs, and they try to convince people to use those other drugs, and they get curious and try them eventually. If marijuana was legal, we wouldn't have to come in contact with people who are selling those other drugs, so the temptation would never surface, theoretically. In that case, the people who try other drugs are the people who were already predisposed and curious to try those other drugs. It's only a theory, but it seems plausible to me. As far as "making" a pothead.....I have introduced a couple of people to the herb. There is nothing like being with someone their first time getting stoned.
True. Benzo addiction, at least hardcore benzo addiction, is actually one of the only two addictions that carry fatal withdrawal symptoms, along with alcohol. That meaning that heavy benzo and/or alcohol withdrawals can actually kill you. Heroin withdrawal is just uncomfortable as fuck, though it FEELS like you're dying. I've never been through any withdrawal, so I am only speaking based on what I've read and heard.
I basically do any drug that is available, aside from meth and crack, and I have never become addicted. I'm surprised I have never developed a hardcore benzo addiction, as a result of my excessive and frequent xanax intake in the past.
Yeah it definitely makes sense. Sure, some people would move on to other drugs, but others would never be tempted, were they never exposed to other drugs.
^^^ how bout DARE.. you hear about these drugs... and wel marijuana being the most accessible you start there.. like the high but wonder.. well.. they said this would make me crazy.. bullshit.. what does opium and pcp make me feel like.. and so you start asking.. sure they are completely different drugs.. and marijuana may not be FORCING you into this decision.. just pure curiosity.. but technically marijuana was the introducing drug.. same scenario could happen start with alcohol
