Im sorry Metallica stole your festival guys. Their my favourite band lol.

When I saw they were playing there I thought "what the fuck?". Metallica's fans arent as bad as people think. Their fans are older now and have respect for people. Their new fans are going to be the ones getting bombed and causing trouble. But most of their fans wont even come to see the other bands anyway.

Just don't wear a Duran Duran shirt and you should be fine.

Those hippies should be honoured to have Metallica play at their little festival. And yes compared to where Metallica usually plays that was a small festival.

i got to see Phil, sigur ros, and ghostland, while waiting for kanye. thank you bonnaroo for the extera time. music till the sun came up. plus since everybody was leaving i got to stand the closest ive ever stood at the main stage with absolutely no problem. i personally am not a kanye fan, but my friends are. they all missed him and i was the only one who saw him, hahaha. its not bonnaroos fault that yall cant be more patient and/or stay up and party.
i thought the show was great but the vibe going round was terrible. i was still able to enjoy everything Saturday had to offer including the 650ugs of lsd i put into my system . id give the kanye show 3 out of 5 stars.

    P.S. ghostland was fuckin nuts!

For me the Disco Biscuits set the stage for the rest of the weekend.

It was like being in fucking paradise from 2AM until sun-up

    Total perfection.

Phil and Friends was amazing as well. It's not everyday you get to here Dark Star.

    What a great weekend!

    What did you guys like?

where were you camped wonka? We were right at pod 3 off of fakedown. The door to door service was awesome and the walk was short. once again bonnaroo has proven to be an awesome time. I am really pumped for the rest of the festie season. Plans are working for a lot of smaller headier festies now.

I went and had a great time. :)

Of course things are never quite what you expect, but it was all good.

I had expected something of a hippie fest... instead it was mostly stoner yuppies at a corporate-style music event, but there was a very wide mix of folks, from young teens to folks older than me. Everyone was very friendly and laid back.

It was quite corporate, in both the good and bad sense of the word... very planned out and professionally handled. I had read that it might get very, very messy with awful sanitation, but I'm pleased say that they kept everything as clean as could be expected. The food was plentiful, and far better than expected.

For those who are planning for next year: Camping was no problem at all, but I would recommend renting an RV if you want a more private bathroom/shower, or a cool, quiet place to get out of the heat. I was quite surprised at the number of folks who were using rented RVs this year.

As for the bands, Pearl Jam was definitely the highlight for me, but everyone was in top form.
