    Yes. http://www.bbc.co.uk/drama/tippingthevelvet/

I remember joining a forum about that show. Seems to have gone to dust.

Never read it. But the cover attracts me more than the type.

I Read the Book...Enjoyed it up until the Last Part...

I felt that Water's Simply wanted to Hurry up and Finish the Book... =/

Disapointing Ending...The TV Series had a better One...

I was curious what a Vitorian/Lesbian Genre would entail...Seems to be more about Cross Dressing...

Water's is very Descriptive with emotions and the Power of Love...Just a Little to wordy at Times...As if the Plot is Rambling...

Actually I Think I was Disapointed with the Book when it Finished with Diana...About Halfway through...From a Personal Perspective...:p

Maybe you are having Problems getting into the Plot because it is based about Victorian Theatre?

Generally I am Interested in anything Victorian...And don't Read this Book for any Sex Scenes...There are only about 3 in the Entire Book...:p

Not the most Realistic of Books...But for Not being Gay Water's made a Great Effort...And did her Research well about Victorian Theatres and Life Around that aspect...

I read it but didn't know about the show.

My girl liked it and wanted me to read it.

I'm not as into Victorian type books as she is, or for that mater Lesbian Lit but I thought it was a pretty good read.
