I love that movie! Have any of you guys ever seen it? It's got Marylin Monroe, Tonny Curtis and Jack Lemmon in it. lol "I called my ma, she was so happy she cried. She want's you to have her wedding gown. It's white lace." "Oscar, I can't get married in you're mothers dress. She and I ,we are not built the same way." "We can have it altered." "Ya, no you don't. Oscar, I'm gonna level with ya, we can't get married at all." "Why not?" "Well, in the first place, I'm not a natural blonde." "Doesn't matter." "I smoke. I smoke all the time." "I don't care." "I have a terrible past, for three years now i have been living with a Saxaphone player." "I forgive you." "I can never have children." "We can adopt some." "You just don't understand, I'm , oh. I'm a man!" "Well, no body's perfect." lmao! I love that movie!!
I have that movie... It was meant to be filmed in colour, but the men looked so ghastly in the female makeup that idea was scrapped.
It's one of my all time favourites. Last summer, there was a street party a few blocks from our place and they were showing the film on a big screen outside. It was really cool.
I'm not overly keen on all 3 actors, within that film. But, there was a certain magic to that particular film. A career best for all. I'm sure "Some like it hotter" will not be a patch on the original.
Love that movie!!! Friggin' hilarious.... "Story of my life. I always get the fuzzy end of the lolipop."
