    Here are some pictures I took at Temple Bar on the AZ. Side of Lake Mead. It's a wonderful sight...that much water in such a stark and forbidding landscape.

    Wow. I'm Gobsmacked. That is very beautiful. Is that block of a hill a natural formation? Wonder what natural forces would create such a feature.

    Swimming and camping trips naturally go together. But, please wear shoes of some sort when you take to water. The toughest feet are no match for rusty tin cans and broken bottles.

    Nice pics..

    I was in the desert the other week in southern Utah it was great almost went into Arizona but it was just to Hot.
    But it was calling me, so I’ll be back in the fall when it cools down.

    Yes...it's natural. It's the "temple" that gave Temple Bar it's name.

    It's the rocks that you've got to worry about at Temple Bar when wading back to shore. It's amazingly trash-free there at Monkey Cove.
