Hello! Bit of a silly thread this, but, I have a really bad tattoo! It's a cheap tiny peace sign on my wrist, that I had done by some kid who messed it up. Anyway, does anyone know of anyway that I could cover it up with other tattoo-age? Is it possible to tattoo other colours over black? I haven't got a picture - but generally think of a peace sign - just done really thickly so that its hardly got any space in the middle. From a distance just looks like a black circle. About an inch wide. Can anyone think of anything funky I could do with it? This is toally gonna be an ongoing thing! As soon as I have got the cash together I am getting something done! I have learnt my lesson though. I was very silly. Stick with tattoo-ists you know and trust! Thanks
Is it on the outside or the inside of your wrist? If it's on the outside you could incorporate it into a bracelet of some kind.. get like a 'gemstone setting' tattooed round it, fill it in with black and pretend it's an onyx *shrug*
You could easily get it covered up as a different small symbol. I recently had a tattoo of a small question mark on my hand, perhaps you can turn it into a dot for the question mark or something like that. I think you could do lasar to get rid of it, or even lighten the pigments so it's easier to tattoo over it in lighter ink. What were you thinking of having?
lmao, omg that sucks!! i have a tattoo that sucks too... its a nice design and all, but i dont like the placement of it... i regretted it as soon as i got home and realized it was too high.. lol. i've learnt my lesson as well.. -_- anyway... turn it into like.. a small silhouette of something else... like a dragon or something.. lol. dragons are cool...
thanks all! Its on the inside of my wrist.. on the left of it (I didnt want it in the middle) The plan is to go to a few artists and ask them to come up with some ideas - I'm sure it will get them thinking! The shadow ideas a good one - they might be able to make it a shadow of something yeah.. hum. I am willing to pay out more if the cover-up's good too! And I don't fancy any lasers at the moment - apparently it's not the most comfortable of procedures! Thanks everyone - I will keep updating when I have new ideas and finally have had something done!
