it started all nice and fine. i did my driving lessons, passed my test got on the road. i would drive safely... but ever since a week after i passed ive stopped wearing my seatbelt. i hate that goddamn thing and i always have. i make it a point to never wear my seatbelt in my car unless my parents are in the car or something. then i think about a month after i passed this was a summer ago i got drunk in the pub, came back to my car and backed straight into another car... then sped off. i got away with it. i drive drunk all the time, i never get caught. sometimes i scream at the road smashing each beer i finish into the road as i speed down the country roads home in the middle of the night. i turn off the lights and see how long i can keep it up for. i make wreckless overtakes... overtaking several cars in one motion... going on the other side of pedestrian islands... racing other drivers... waving and screaming and inviting people to go crazy with me and burn rubber. i got into pot and started driving high... and for some reason i became the good driver again... just calm and happy to not have to be walking. it never inhibited me. and ive always held it close to me that my willingness to take chances is just good form on my part, the way any real person should act on this already crazy earth. i mean im not scared of death right. except there it is... that word death. it was just the other day that i started trying to drive with my eyes closed. and i marvelled at how driving is even allowed when its so easy to just rest your head on the wheel and close your eyes and forget about it all. and i picture the crash, and the instantaneous nature of it. i picture myself hitting oncoming traffic... or even just driving off into the forest and now im thinking... is there some suicidal motive behind all this. am i going crazy? why is it just with driving? i dont think driving is natural... there's something eerie about it... about the way we just subject ourselves to the chance that someone won't randomly drive into us on the motorway. i think driving itself is staring death in the face, and also depriving yourself of that natural joy that comes with walking... so it is death. it is death.
Its a bit of thrill seeking and something else. Im the same way really, im scared of breaking a bone, but i could care less about death.
lol its all good that you feel no fear of death same here but for fuck sake think man what if you crash in to a car with kids and end there lifes. you are a retard STOP drink driving!
I only drive like an idiot when I'm really pissed. Driving fast and playing angry music is my form of anger management. But I do have those same thoughts about crashing. There's that knowledge that you could just not make the turn and go off into a tree without making any effort at all. Always in the back of my head. It's just an instant change. Oh well, I'm not suicidal. And once you get a DUI you'll wish that you had just driven into that tree. I have a friend that's still paying one off. It's tough to get to work without a license.
yeah dude... you need to stop being so selfish with your "looking death in the face woo hoo smashing beers drunk/high while screaming with your eyes closed and the lights turned off while making a three car pass on an old country road" bullshit. you're going to end up killing someone bro. and that just isn't cool or worth it any way you slice it. if you want to take risks with your own life, that is well and good, but leave the general public out of it.
I doubt you'll kill yourself, probably an innocent person who wasn't close to deserving it, and then you'll have to live with it for the rest of your life because your an idiot.
Damn Exar! You are going to end up killing some innocent person. I knew a guy who was high and drunk and was coming home from a party. He flew through a stop sign and hit a car. A man, his wife and their two little kids were all killed. He didn't even have a scratch on him. Do you know where he is now? Jail! When I was younger their was also a custodian at my school who was killed along with his wife and son when a drunk driver hit them. Imagine you and your family are just driving along not doing anything to anyone..and bam, some drunk fuck face hits you and your dead. I also had two friends who were walking to their house on the sidewalk. A drunk driver literally ran up on the sidewalk and hit them. One of my friends was slammed into the windshield. She was cut literally from ear to ear. Her heart stopped twice on the way to the hospital. My other friend was literally run over. She broke both of her arms, ankles, her leg was broken so was her collarbone and a few other things were broken too(which I can't remember because it's been about 4 years ago). Thank the good lord neither of them died.. and it all happened because of a drunk driver! You need to stop and think about what you're doing. You could ruin the rest of your life or someone else's life.. and why? Just because you want to push the limit.. See what you can get away with? And what was this.. driving with your eyes closed and with your lights off? I would hate to meet you on the highway. If you are feeling like this then you need to be responsible and step up to the plate and not drive a car. Do whatever you can to not put yourself in that situation. Take a bus, hitchhike, ride a bike, walk.. whatever.

To be fair no one really (I mean REALLY, they might act it, but don't really) cares if a wrecklesss driver dies. It when he takes other people with him that people get angry. You could always do somthing risk taking without putting other people at risk. Go base jumping? Bungee jumping seeing how close you can get to the ground? Iv also always thought there is somthing about cars, in that every day you put your life in the hands of, well people like you. All well and good taking a risk, but don't make people descision if they want to take a risk or not.
well apparently you live out in the country so there's probably no one on the roads at night when he's driving drunk except other drunk drivers. haa.
