lately for the past few days my three year old has decided to purposely pee himself. he will just sit there and not even bat an eye and pee himself with whatever he's doing. he has been potty trained for well over a year and can tell the difference of having to pee or poo. he knows where all the bathrooms are in the house and when we go to the store. Yet for some reason he insistson wetting himself. I dont know if this may have something to do with the fact that he is jealous over his 1yr old brother or the fact that i am pregnant again. I had told him that if he continues to wet himself like this he will no longer have big boy undies and he will not be able to go to school with the other kids. any other advice would be greatly appreciated thanks FF
He just wants your attention. I can only remember like 5 things from that time in my life but I remember I did that.
I doubt that he totally grasps the concept of you being pregnant again...but who knows I could be wrong... but yeah...I think he's just seeking out your attention....I'm sure this phase will pass. make some one on one time with him...and let him know how much you love him and think he is special....
I would agree that it's an attention thing. The less of a deal you make out of it the quicker it will pass.
yea i thought it was an attention thing too. he went through this about 5 months ago is it possible to relapse into a phase? i try not to make a big deal of it but it gets me so upset that he would just sit there and pee on the couch or pee on his brother im at my witts end i just dont know what to do anymore.
i dont know but if he doesnt stop within the next week im gonna take him to see the dr and see if it is something physical
my first thought was that he has a UTI, so it might be more comfortable to pee in his pants than to sit on a toilet.
