What's the difference...

    ...between begrudging submission and discipline?

    The bible makes it pretty clear that God is not honored or glorified in any way by someone who "begrudgingly" follows the rules, wishing that he or she could be doing otherwise.

    By the way, i don't mean discipline like being reprimanded, but like self-discipline or self-control.

    Submission is a two edged sword. You can do it by freewill, or you can do it to save yourself in face of a superior force.

    Discipline is a means to an end. There's a goal involved in it's practice. Voluntary.
