No one is arguing with the fact that you were angry.

You just let your emotions get the best of you in a case where you need to stay as quiet and neutral as possible. You are lucky that you didn't get charged with the crimes I previously mentioned. If you were so innocent, then why would you do something that may make you guilty? The cops knew that you were junkies. Society thinks that junkies are scum... it's unfortunate, sure... but it's true. Hell, many junkies are complete and total scum (while others can be wonderful human being, or some other tacky characterization). You sure weren't helping your case by acting like what an angry redneck cop would surely perceive as "scum junkie" behavior.

Laws aren't just, which is why you must learn how to beat or bypass them. You can cry about changing the world and about how unfair treatment is... but c'est la vie. At least you don't live in Saudi Arabia where they'd execute you for that shit without a fair trial. Drug laws need extreme reform, yet sadly they are the way they are now, and the public reacts to them. In your situation, beating the system was equivalent to not acknowledging it. Silence is golden, they say.

Anyhow, sure is good that you didn't get charged with anything though. Maybe the cops were nice guys after all, they sure could have charged you with a bunch of shit if they were dicks.

Realize the fact that society hates you because you're a junkie. It's unfortunate, but true. Keep on doing heroin if you're willing to live with these consequences, otherwise... stop bitching, especially at people who are trying to give you some constructive advice. There is a consequence to every action. Learn the consequences and then see if the action itself, no matter how gratifying, is truly worth it.

But I feel for ya nirma. I read the first page or so, and some posts throughout the thread, and I agree that no drugs should be illegal. We should all be free to put whatever we want in our bodies and we should have complete personal freedom to do what we want, as long as we're not hurting anyone. I also appreciate the fact that you're not gonna testify against anyone. Cops are fags. Don't you wish you could just walk into a police station with a machete and start making bacon? hahaha

TNS....Nope, no updates. My charges are so small that I think im gonna go the Public Defender route.....and if I dont like the vibe of all that shit....then im gonna get my lawyer but even my lawyer was like "this is kind of silly..." so im sure a public defender would be fine but its like..anyone working inside the government like that ...I dont trust.

 

cops are more out to catch dealers than they are for people buying drugs. since they caught the guys who sold it to you, i think they might lighten up a little bit on you..good luck with everything either way..
