These shots were taken outside of Clarkdale, AZ. in North Central Arizona. These shots were taken right off the camera's smart card with no photoshopping. A few minutes later. And finally.
I know the feeling. No optional lenses with the current device I use. I've captured a few "sky on fire" sunsets myself and could have used a wider angle lens.
Yeah, me too, stuck with one built-in small zoom lens. I'm thinking about biting the bullet and shelling out the big bucks for a Nikon digital SLR with a full range of lenses.
Nice sunset pics. It looks like it was even more colorful in real life. I know what you mean by being stuck with the built in lens, I want to get a digital SLR but,, wow I just don’t want to spend that much on a camera.
Thanks dude. I was just looking at a Nikon D-40 today with two lenses, wide angle and telephoto, for $846. A bit more than I can afford, (Actually...a LOT more than I can afford.) but they take beautiful pics. Come on lottery!!!
Thanks. If anyone wants to see any more, check out my website and click on "Sunsets" in the Digital Galleries section of the menu. jayeffcee.com
Two Dogs: You have a great eye. My wife and I were going through your pics and we were both impressed. I love nature-scapes and night photograpy. Your work has inspired me! Thank you, friend. Peace.
WOW !! Awesome shot man. Being in Arizona myself, I have witnessed many a spectacular sunset. Never could capture the actual beauty of it on film, but you came close. Keep up the good work man !!
wow man! those are amazing pictures. my brother is a photographer in phoenix right now...and man, those sunsets blew my mind away. i love them.
Two Dogs, I've seen a lot, too much, Southwest sunset photography, but yours, I like. Start looking for used D100s. I'll bet they will be close in price to the D40, but they are so much more camera. any Nikon glass will work. The auto focus might not be dead on, but that's pretty small to work around, overall.
