John Kerry beat the dog crap out of boy George on the debates. Kerry was focused on the main issue of National Security while boy George was scattered and unorganized as usual. Since the U.S. Supreme Court appointed boy George President: Record Clinton budget surpluses have turned into record Bush budget deficits. http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/ Bush ignored the Clinton administration and Richard Clark warnings of Osama bin Laden determined to attack in the U.S. until it was too late. http://www.bartcop.com/he-knew-failure.jpg North Korea has developed NUCLEAR Weapons of Mass Destruction. Iraq was found to not have Weapons of Mass Destruction. More than 1000 U.S. military personnel have been killed in an oil invasion that was not necessary, and over 200,000 military personnel have been discharged because of disabilities caused by the Iraq war. http://icasualties.org/oif/ Even more civilians have been killed or wounded in a country that DID NOT ATTACK US. http://www.robert-fisk.com/iraqwarvictims_page1.htm Al Qaeda, the real enemy, has grown stronger and is recruiting more than ever. http://www.bartcop.com/aq-support.jpg The Economy has gotten worse. Millions of jobs have been lost. The middle class has shrank by 1.3 million middle class Americans who have slipped below the poverty level. And all boy George has promised is MORE OF THE SAME. ************************************************* Vote for John Kerry. America can do better. Clinton proved that. http://www.johnkerry.com/index.html *************************************************
Well said Cyberfly. But I thought your analysis of the debate under "America Attacks" was much more insightful. http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34968
Lol, true. Apparently double posting only violates the Forum Guidelines if you double post something bashing the left.
Keep in mind this debate was over foreign policy, Iraq and the war on terror, where Bush is strongest, and yet Kerry outpointed him. The debate on October 13th is about domestic policy and the economy. Expect a rout.
Lol...listen to the fascist cry babies. On just about any other talk forum I go to, I get booted for telling the truth while right wingers break all the rules and get away with it. Whaaaaaa.....
By all means, please bring to light what rules the "fascist crybabies" on these forums have broken, and we'll try not to in the future. Ignoring your infraction and posting a political cartoon (which is plagiarism by the way, you never specify what site your cartoons come from. That's what Maverick got banned for) to make a cheap shot with no real premise to begin with only makes you look dumb.
Well, I went on "non partisan" websites and would say what I do here. Republicans would come unglued and use every form of profanity against me. I would get booted for pissing people off even though I was not in violation of any TOS (Terms of Service). This forum is very tolerant of free speech. They put up with you don't they? I remember some pretty nasty personal attacks your buddy Maverick was saying. What can I say, Republicans are mean spirited, rude, ugly, people. Many have talk forums in which they only allow there own opinions. I think it's great when people like you get a taste of your own medicine. Not everyone here agrees with me but I am allowed to speak. Max, what do you contribute other than snotty comments? This image is provided by Bartcop as are most of them I share. Many other people contribute them to his website to send a message. There is no money or personal gain unless, of course, Bush's sorry ass is booted out of office. Then the whole world will be a better place to live in. http://www.bartcop.com Let Freedom Ring.
So Cyberfly you are saying that you want to take the lowest standard of behaviour you can find on the conservative forums and then use that as your standard here? Wow, sounds like you have a lot of respect for HipForums.
This has nothing to do with free speech. You regularly double and triple post, which is against the Forum Guidelines. That is violating the rules. I couldn't give less than a fuck what you have to say, and nobody here is going to ban you for it. Which is besides the point, that you think it's OK to emulate the disrespectful, unfair attitudes of conservatives on other message boards just because they do it to you on other websites. "Well they did it first...." was an excuse I grew out of in the sixth grade, apparently you've got a ways to come. Maverick was banned for plagiarism. As far as "nasty personal attacks," his comments towards others were no worse than yours towards conservatives (and me), that's for damn sure. As far as what I contribute, what does anyone ever contribute to a forum? Their opinions. I'm a Supporter, which means I gave money to the site at one point. You're a Member, meaning you've been hanging around for free not even having the respect to obey the forum guidelines.
LOL, How can you say that Kerry looked like a moron..He looked calm, more presidential than Bush in any case, and proved to know what he was talking about..Bush looked pissed off, frustrated, and he kept sighing lol so keep on filling yer head full of how good bush looked stumped over his podiem, being repeticiuos, studdering, not having any new material, and having a look of frustration, and anger on his face..I'm sorry but even most republicans agree Kerry looked so much more like a president than Bush did
I don't like either one of them, but I myself did years of debate. Kerry obviously won. Bush repeated himself. He hardly had answers that were relevant to the questions asked, said um.. entirely too much, he was slouching and leaning all over the podiem, for gods sake, watch any other formal debate and you will not see anyone slouching. He had the attitude like all this was below him. Like he didn't even have to give anything but a half-assed effort at this debate. You'd expect more from Yale graduate, let alone the leader of this country... I would like to see more candidates involved in the debates. And I would like to see a real debate not these whimpy ones Kerry and Bush are trying to pull off.
Surprisingly, NPR's analysis of the debate on the very next morning was fairly balanced. They identified no clear "winner" and even noted that Bush sometimes had a better command of the facts than Kerry, as when Kerry wrongly accused Bush of cutting funding to secure Russia's nuclear weapons materials. Recently, though, it seems that the commercial media is determined to spin the debate as a "victory" for Kerry, in a thinly veiled effort to revive his faltering campaign. Their transparent bias is astounding. An ABC commentator challenged Bush's reliance on UN estimates of the number of voters likely to participate in the next Iraqi election. These are the same pundits who've been incessantly chiding Bush for disrepecting the hallowed UN!
That is not what he said. You know it and your loving it. Seriously, they do take allot of abuse on these boards from both sides and let it slide. Good for them, long live free speech. "Edit: Any unbiased report would have said that Kerry clearly won this debate. Even Fox conceded that he won"
i seriously hope that was all sarcasm. kerry killed bush in the debates. his composure was much better, his answers were much more conifedent, and he actually looked like he knew what he was doing. And "americanize the entire middle east"?? We're not Nazis. Iraq didnt even have nuclear weapons. It's hard to start a "nuclear holocoust" without nuclear weapons.
Next time keep ol' smug George out of the green room & away from the free bar! (har, har, har!) I'd love to slap that smirk off his face, ooowie!
