Well I called my friends mom and she said that she doesn't want to highlight/dye my hair because I had it highlighted like last March and it will damage it. I don't think so though. I've had it done this soon before its been two and a half months and I probably could do to get it highlighted again. But since I don't know everything...would it be dangerous?
I thought I was right. Oh my gosh that pisses me off even more. I've got strong hair to begin with anyway...
highlighting it shouldnt hurt but dont bleach it girl, every person i know whose ever bleached their hair (including myself) it resulted in chemical burned hair that was impossible to manage and takes like 4 years to grow it back out because it cuts itself
Highlighting and bleaching are the same thing aren't they. I only want to get part of my head done not the entire thing.
i think you will be fine =] just dont leave the bleach on too long! i bleached my hair in 9th grade. i ended up missing a spot and instead of just bleaching the spot i missed, i re-bleached my whole head and that straight up killed my hair. for the next four years until my hair grew itself out completely, my hair was knotty and split and completely unmanageble. and this has happened to 2 or 3 people i know. i recommend getting it done proffesionaly because its easy to screw up your hair with bleach. but as long as your not going for all of your hair i think it will be fine
Thanks. Now I just have to find someone to do it. Yeah you are right I probably should get it done professionally i'd probably freak out and not let her do anything anyway at the last minute.
