This is most intriguing, but I'm sure that fluoride is not alone on the job to dumb out the mind of society. I think that there is whole list of such chemicals/compounds all working together to corrupt the mind.
I don't believe in that 'dumbing down' theory.Too many people here seem to think everything is some kind of conspiracy.I disagree on that aspect.But flouride is a toxin in high enough amounts,therefore there is NO reason to put it in water period!

It's not a conspiracy its just awful politics,and policys.The DEregulation of big businesses and their involvement in government has proven a disaster for the US.The US "used" to strictly regulate big businesses,and everything worked alot better.Now it seems in the name of 'free enterprise'(that term has been twisted around so many times) the US has become a corporate dictatorship without any regard for its citizens,unless of course they are wealthy.

So a conspiracy by corporations, then -- still a conspiracy. But it's not like they make a lot of money or anything like that off of fluoridated water. The negative health effects are by far the best reason for fluoridated water (from their perspective).

Well fluoride is a beneficial substance in small amounts, and occurs naturally in most water supplies. The issue with adding it is that the amount is much higher, to the point of being unhealthy.
I don't get why the government is concerned about our dental hygiene. But all in all, how can you sit around worrying about what the government is doing? Maybe it's just the fluoride speaking, but I'm going to have fun regardless of what they're doing. If those losers are out there conspiring to keep people down, fuck them -- who even has time for such nonsense.
