Turn the corner and turn into dust
    Turn in, to a demon
    Turn to me
Turn yourself around so I can see you again

I lost sight of you last night and it scared me
    Demons loom from dark places
Claw the curtains and upset the air, the
Piles of dust heaped up in the corners.
    Layers lie thick on sheets
    Like sheets on sheets
    Lain lovingly upon the bedclothes
You retreat like shadows from torchlight
    Cobwebs cling to strange places
    Spiders suck the moisture daily
Where have you been hiding all this time?
You wouldn’t let me see you for a long while.

Turn the corner and turn into dust
    Turn in, to a demon
    Or turn to me
Turn yourself around so I can see you again
