Chiron

I just read a book that was about the planetoid "Chiron" and its connections to Chiron, the wounded healer, the Centaur. From what I understand because Chiron is often between Saturn and uranus it repersents a balance between staunch conservatism and liberal, artistic, raw freedom. Chiron also represents teaching or healing others in ways we cannot do for ourselves....
Wondering what other people know about this.
Also, my boyfriend and I both have Chiron in Gemini. He's a Cancer, Taurus rising and Scorpio Moon while I'm a Gemini, Sagittarius rising and Capricorn Moon. What does this mean for us?
