Yep that's right, I've had all A's and B's from kindergarden until now, but I just fucked up my Algebra II 10 final and my first C has been born. I don't really care, it was bound to happen eventually with the amount of work I was putting into what I was doing. I just feel bad that I finally fell through the bottom, I was close to the B too, 84.1% just .4% away Anyways, I'm going to forget and move on. Summer is just starting.
meh, the only truly disappointing grade is the one below 50 (aka a fail) the higher up in education you go, the lower your grades are (generally speaking). most folk drop at least 10% if not more when tehy go from high school to university/post secondary
Well, my mom is going to be pretty pissed, before this year she was talking about sending me to an ivy league school. I'm quite happy though, this will lower my mom's expectations a little. I also had one of the funnest, most memorable years of my life. Happiness and meaning are and will always be my main concerns. I'm finding both right now.
damn the standards are low where you went to school! at my high school, 64 was failing, and in most of my college classes, anything below a 60 was a fail... my grades got better as i went along for the most part, because i got tired of the extra effort involved in lowering my grades just so people would stop accusing me of studying... although my GPA got lower, since college didn't award A+'s or offer weighted courses.
I admit it, I cried when I got my 1st C. It was like a sting to the heart, man. Edit to add: I was thanking all major gods and dieties when I got a C this past semester in my econ class. It was a once a week class, and I think I went like 1-2 times a month.
my core business/econ classes i do well in terrible in my math courses decent in my electives...great when i like the class...
i'll most likely be taking classes at CC...going from a university to a CC instead of the other way around haha
I know there are so many amazing schools out there, I honestly perfer going somewhere a little more low key. My mom is a bit insane when it comes to colleges.
What is "community college" and "The Ivy League" and other such things I hear them mentioned all the time but never know wtf people are saying. Is community college open to everyone but the ivy league is some consortium of "special" universities or some shit? Someone help a foreigner out
community college is cheap college that allows basically anyone who can pay to enroll... ivy league refers to a few specific universities, all of which are exceptionally exclusive and expensive
Haha yeah I did the same thing except I went from the private 4 yr to the state university to the community college....now I'm a dropout!
i wish... if that was true i probably would have actually applied to some more after the first one accepted me...
