I see in the news that a Bush impeachment is now officially underway, and he's being charged with something like 35 different charges. CSPAN supposedly covered the whole thing live, but I didn't catch it. It's probably just a waste of time, as there aren't enough Democrats in the Senate to convict (I believe there are 47 Democrats in the Senate (of course Lieberman can't be counted as a Dem), out of the potential 101 votes), but it still might be worth the bother. If for no other reason, just to get McCain busy defending Bush, and thus making himself look like the senile old grouch that he is. Thoughts? Does anyone think there's any chance of a conviction (I don't)?
It is a waste of time. Our so called representatives are just trying to draw attention away from their own involvement over the years. Most of them are guilty. x
I think its because now all this corroborated evidence is comming out from the bush administration. They could accuse all they want, but now with people in the bush admin breaking rank like mcclelland and other reports being released to corroborate everything, they NOW can formally impeach the guy for his high crimes.
Soooooooooooo,7 and a half years after the Bush administration has been in power, they want to 'talk about impeachment. Its just talk.Means nothing.
Waste of time. If anything, impeachment will just increase sympathy for him. He's got 7 months left. Let it go. History will not be kind to Mr. Bush, and to me that's worse than being impeached.
its not a waste of time wtf r u talkin about? are u serious? Bush's official impeachment will resonate in history as the icing on a Failed administration. bush gonna be the most shit on president in US history forever.
If we could drag Clinton through the muck of an impeachment for a few blow jobs why the hell not have a go at it with Bush? I'm sick of his smug countenance - I'd like to see a bit of shame come across that face of his. Any time spent on this is worth it to me.
