Hahaha, this was great... And true... I have no idea, and will continue to have no idea..Maybe carpool but then that means someone will have to ride with me and that would probably drive them insane...
Live in the downtown core of the city But I plan on havin a career where I can afford gas if I want it.
There probably won't be anything to go to that isn't within range of the shoe leather express as I doubt I'll be employed by that time. Maybe public transportation on the odd occasion of having to go... carpooling to family functions.
thus far, a tank of gas lasts me a pretty stinking long time. dave's company pays for his gas. thankfully the city is working on expanding it's bus routes. there's bikes everywhere, it's beginning to look like mainland china.
i refuse to let kai ride her bike all the way to her school with that horrifically busy stree and intersection, and i can't see myself ever hauling joey behind me on a bike for the same reason. however, i wouldn't mind riding the bus different places on the weekends. i'm just not using enough gas to worry about the cost of driving her to school every day.
My husband can ride his bike to work until it snows...We live right downtown and I can walk to a lot of places, like the library, parks, school, grocery store... I get major groceries only twice a month, I could do it once a month if I had help. I save up my errands and do several on the same trip.
I'll be pretty much fucked, since I always seem to be in metropolitan areas where everything is spread out. I already had to get rid of my project car to drive this fuckin turd I have right now.
