i posted a thread about how my parents were doing the intervention on me. well my mom found my doob tube & had no idea what it was. so after telling me she found it, but hadn't been snooping (which is just a straight up lie, it'd have been impossible to find unless she was looking for something) but on new years eve she was asking the neighbors what it was. okay, what i do with my body is MY BUSINESS! however, i understand that my parents have every right to not want me to do it (even if they did their fair share of drugs). but the fucking neighbors have no need to know that kind of thing, i'm very angry with her. "hey guys, i suspect my son is a crackhead. feel free to spread rumors. i don't care if it's his business, or at best a family concern." yup, i'm outraged. but can't really do anything about it - except just rant on the forums.
Yeah thats over stepping the line a few times. I hope you have a decent reputation with the neighbors and can lie well. And if nothing else i hope you didnt rely on them for babysitting jobs. I guess ranting is one of the many uses of the web.
Well, technically, since you are 15, what you do is not only your business, but theirs as well. Still a minor, they are responsible, and yes, love you very much, even though they do things you do not like. Maybe you are not responsible enough for marijuana, I don't know you and cannot say, but they are trying to help you out. They can take it overboard though. Talking to the neighbors, though, is not the best idea.
Haha, I had a party with a few friends (which I wasn't supposed to be having ofcourse) and my neighbours smelt the smoke from the weed, and told my Mum when she got home. She/they didn't seem to mind. Hahahaha.
yes, i know they problably should be worried when their kid is doing something illegal. but they should think about it a little, they know that i'm very responsible for my age. i don't go crazy with my drug habits, which is more than they could've said for themselves at my age. my point was why the fuck consult the neighborhood about it!? and my friend's parents were there, and they don't know she smokes - so they're a little suspicious of her now.
