Holly (after my Dad, Hollis) Adhara (means "maiden" in arabic, also, a star in canis minor) arrived 10:11 AM on May 29 weighing 7 lbs 14 oz, 21 inches long. She was born after 8 hours of smooth labor, at home, in the family bed. The midwives were GREAT. If you live in northern VA I HIGHLY reccomend Birth By Design. Peggy and her assistants are wonderful and warm and loving and they made my birth so memorable. Pictures and full birth story to come!
