Does any body have any legit facts on LSD, from legit sources, not just people who do it, but also medical/ health sites or anything? These are some myths that I want to clear up, and I know there is probably alrready a few posts on this.. 1 Spinal tap. It stays in your spine forever? If you want to be in the airforce or something they can find out if you have done LSD by spinal tap. 2 Brain cells. Kills brain cells and or fries the brain. 3 Overdose. You need aboout 100 times an average hit to overdose. 4 Other chemicals. There can be other chemicals in blotter paper, DOx or whatever.. If anyone has anything on these, please respond but please please please give legit resources if you can. I have heard alot of stuff, but i want to know facts.. Any other facts or myths that you want to clear up, be my guest, thanks.
LSD fries the whole brain. Thats what its supposed to do. But the brain only takes like 24 hours to return completely back to normal. That is unless you encountered something crazy on the other side... And you'd need well over 1000 times a normal dose to OD

I even tried to look for this myth on erowid, or even if it was real, but i could find it nowhere on the site. I have never even heard this. 3. This one is true, but people say DOx chemicals last for more than 14 hours. So if your trip is alot longer than 12 hours, you probably took a DOx chemical. But even if you do take a DOx chemical, you probably wouldnt even notice the difference as a first timer. One thing ive heard is that if the blotter tastes really bitter than it has DOx in it instead of lsd. the oeverdose is nearly impossible. at half the deadly dose youd probably end up harming yourself if a bad trip takes place. (however, lsd doesnt mean youll turn suicidal or blood-orgy) as for health: Albert Hoffman (creater/founder of LSD-25) lived to 101, so it cant be all too bad for you
#1= BS. LSD does not stay with you, and spinal taps are a complicated procedure requiring a hospital stay. IE expensive #2= BS. LSD dosnt kill brain cells, BUT dehydration, lack of food, sleep, oxygen... all that will kill brain cells. #3=BS. You would never be able to afford enough acid to kill yourself, and even if you were rich, noone would sell you that much. You might become a different person if you ate a whole bunch though. #4= true. There might be ANYTHING on the paper, but if its not LSD, you will know. The strycthnine rumors are BS. Keep in mind that if other drugs are dissolved and put on paper, the AMOUNT that it takes to get you high is going to be in the milligram range, not the MICROgram range soooo you might notice that bunk shit tastes bitter as hell, like chemicals.
on the lethal dose, that's estimated. if you read farther you would've found out the only instance where someone has died from ingesting too much acid, purely just from the acid, not any extenuating circumstances, he ingested over 320,000ug of pure lsd 25. and the DOx chemicals. i definately know the difference between lsd and it's analog's, and last night i took a hit of some really good lsd-25 and was still fried at 1030 this morning.
