jrnyman, are you allergic to tape? Just noticing those red marks that break right where the bandagw wulda been.

I became allergic to all adhesive tapes a couple years ago. My last tattoo I found out I'm also allergic to that non-adhesive Telfa pad that was put over my new tat. I brought my own "silk tape" Durapore, which is the only one I'm not allergic to, then found out the pad itself caused itching rash. Thought it was going to mess up my new tat and I couldn't scratch it.

 

My skin gets red after it's had tape on it, too...it's just the glue irritating the skin, I don't know if it's an actual full-fledged allergy.
Love the handprint, though, that's really rad!

Today, I was in SoBe and decided to get another tattoo.

I really think tats are addictive, because after getting my first one in 2001, it has been followed by two others and today I just felt like getting another.

Today, was an addition to my first tat, the butterfly from May 2001 to commemorate my departed wife Brenda. I just personalized our personal butterfly with our names.
