Old school Matchbox Twenty

Who here has Mad Season? What a great album.
I like their older stuff much better than their new stuff.

So what do y'all think of them?

 

I think they're pretty lame and unoriginal... even by corporate rock standards.

I love Mad Season. I think it's the best CD they've put out.

I still have it somewhere.

 

I dug mine out a few days ago. I forgot how much I liked them.

I heard some of their stuff back in the day and I can't remember any of it. but I'm pretty sure it was bad.

what are you talking about? they've been around since at least the mid 90's.

i said 96(post #10),,but the album everyone was referring to came out in 2000. i DONT consider 96 "back in the day"..

i consider back in the day when, you could get 3 pieces of bubblegum for a penny,when you could get five loaves of bread for a dollar,when a energy crisis meant people waited in lines for gas at the outrageous price of 49 cents a gallon..

for me back in the day will always mean the Fresh Prince and I can't believe it's not butter.

i don't particularly love matchbox twenty, but i occasionally hear a song and feel somewhat sentimental because it reminds me of my early teen years... all them good times i had.

 

Truth. Matchbox Twenty sucked major arse, ugh.
