The bars are seemingly the most successful establishments in this town, there isn't a weekend night that goes by that they aren't packed... the grocery store also does quite well for themselves (pure monopoly there... price gougers!).... how about your town?
Probably the university. Or maybe that guy who invented some kind of birth control pill who has a giant mansion 5 minutes away from here. Does it count as a business in this town if he doesn't run it out of his mansion?
Any and all Dr.s offices. I mean come on look at what they charge per visit times the amount o people they cram per hour and the best part is if they fuck up you still pay!
There's several... Eastman Kodak (which is no longer successful) Xerox Bausch & Lomb Paychex Wegmans The University of Rochester
A lot of the successful places here are thankfully local the local farmers markets are always packed to the brim which is great to see. seems like it is already larger than last year. burrito places come to mind place called flatbread pizza is always packed. bars down in the "old port" No walmart here thank goodness (that I can remember). wouldn't make it here.
gulfstream most likely. the hospital was doing great, but now they are in the red because they build too many big ass buildings everywhere.
i don't know, it's a pretty big city... probably used to be jeep, or one of the glass factories. now maybe the university... i think fifth third bank may be headquartered downtown here... in the small town where i grew up... probably the local harley shop, the truck stop, or one of the construction companies...
Eh, Cambridge is a fairly small city, but I'd say it'd be Tesco.. there's fucking 3 of them and plans to build another one! Aagh. Fucking hate em. Tesco is the British Walmart.. Asda is the American Walmart spreading its tentacles into Britain.
In the tiny "town" I live in- gas station/convince store(s) for sure.. the entirety of the bfe "community" I live in- walmart(its technically a few towns over).
hahahahha A giant, 80 year-old hot dog/burger/french fry/orange glo stand... Famous for the "Ritz' Red Hot Foot-Long Hot Dog!" Port Dover is already a big summer tourist town in Southern Ontario, but there are swarrrrms around The Arbor. They have good fries, but I still don't understand it all. But, here's a recent review: "Dirty, Dirty, Dirty, the tables are discustingly filthy, there was puke lying on the side walk, we did not see it untill we were leaving, the qaulity has dropped substantualy over the years, & the price has sky rocketed, for 2 adults & 3 kids it cost us $48, it's to bad because they were once the best & had the hottest thing going but, they've lost my business." Otherwise, we have a (usually) one day per year attraction called Friday the 13th. It sucks hard. 100 000 bikers from all over Canada and the US come to a town with a population of around 6000... Yeah.
