i dont think i've ever seen an earwig before. are they not found in the midwestern united states? man they look gross though. my biggest fear is spiders. HATE them also like other people i freak out when i see wasps, bees, hornets, yellow jackets, ect. bumble bees dont bother me that much, they don't seem very aggressive and usually mind their own business, but hornets are usually really aggressive.
http://www.whatsthatbug.com/earwig.html dont go there if freaked out, but its a great site for identifying bugs/ spiders and other such crawlies. bumble bees and even honey bees are not aggressive because if they sting you they die. they know better. i don't like honey bees because of the africanized version, which are basically suicidal. they swarm and can kill you (hence, killer bees)
...And I thought I was the only one who knew what earwigs are lmao I hate those damn bugs. I lived in a house for about a year that was infested as fuck
i don't like earwigs cause the name. i'm always afraid when i go to bed they're going to go inside my ear and get in my head.
Earwigs are only called that because a long time ago when everyone was wearing those ridiculous high white wigs the earwigs loved what the wigs were made out of so they would find one and lay eggs, people at the time thought that the bugs could crawl in their ears but luckily science has proven wrong.
they have very tiny vaginas..... I hate fucking aunts for the same reason... besides it being incest.. I mean insects...
Dude. I HATE it when people (specifically women) scream when anything flying comes around. It really annoys me. I just want to slap them, so they'll shut up, and relax and simply understand it just wants to fly. I don't mind any wasps or anything. They really won't sting you if you don't bother them. Earwigs are just so surprising when they like sprint out in the middle of my carpet and their gross swagger is just so intimidating. For the record, I have an awesome wasp nest right outside my window between it, and the outside screen. Its pretty cool to open my blinds up and just watch them do... whatever they're doing when they walk all over the nest. Oh, but now I can't(or won't) sneak out of that window at night anymore.
i fuckin HATE mayflies.. but even though i hate them so much.. they do mean two things.. 1.. the more there are.. the cleaner the water is in the area... and 2.. fishing is gonna be fuckin amazing!!!!.. i'll go fishing when they are hatching and you will see swarms of tens of thousands of those things flying around
