So I've seen Indiana Jones and Sex and the City movies...and I feel like I want to write up to the production company and ask for my money back. I'm so sick of movies disappointing me. The Hulk looks like it will be another one. I think I'll skip it and just stick to watching TV from now on.
don't go to hollwood movies. their almost all shit. indie movies are the best also, alot of great forigen movies too!
They make junk now.Movies used to be wonderful, but were going back quite a few years now.Within the last 25 years it seems that a bunch of 12 year olds write the movies, the production values are poor, the stories stupid etc.Tip:stop going to the movies, and start concentrating on the older films which are great.---I would rather view a grade B movie made in 1960 than anything they make now.TV shows also went down the sewer.Old tv shows are great, the newer ones pure rubbish.
Yeah, I really disliked Ironman and Indiana Jones (although it is pretty impressive that Harrison Ford can still move around like that). No Country for Old Men is an incredible movie though and it came out last year; not all new movies are flops.
[rant]What a bunch of whiners! Sorry Johnny, not pickin' on you specifically but you said you really disliked Iron Man? Can you say why? It was a great action movie and almost all professional critics thought it rocked. Robert Downey Jr. carried it and tho there wasn't much for the other named actors, it overall was a good action flick. Shale's Iron Man Review http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?p=4331467 So, I ask, what do you want? If your standards are that inflated, then yeah quit going to the movies - it's your choice how to waste your money and time, but "fooled twice - shame on you." Yeah, I admit there are some crap movies out there - I've seen them. Even written about them and discussed (diss'd) them on a fanatical movie site (joblo.com) And, you can fault Hollywood for a lot of that crap but not everything is bad. (Iron Man was also from there). Here's the most recent flick I've seen - not Hollywood but Russian made. I liked it and await the sequels: Shale's Mongol review http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=311292 [/rant]
