eyebrown barbell - guy

Hi,

What do you guys & gals think of a left eyebrow barbell for a guy?

I want to get one (I don't have any other piercing or tattoo), but when I talked to my dad about it, he argued that it looks gay on a guy.

Well I guess I'll start off stating that I don't find eyebrow piercings too attractive.

But as a homosexual man, I can tell you, eyebrow piercings of either side are not "gay"(whatever that's supposed to mean).

 

I think I am going to get one... I personally think it looks pretty cool. How long does it take to heal?

Thats a good attitude. If it makes you happy, then it doesn't really matter what other people think. My guess is that your father was just dropping the "gay" thing in hopes of dissuading you.

I tried to takek a picture of it close up. sorry it's kind of dark, it's on my camera on my phone which is whack. but really it just depends on what kind of eyebrow you have. like how they are shaped, how thick they are etc. that determines if it would look good or not.

yeah can't really tell from that. keep in mind that normally they put it at like the very edge of your eyebrow. the dude at the piercing place could probably help you more.

 

i dont really like eyebrows that much, but its a piercing that anyone can pull off. dont worry, it will look fine on you and even if it doesnt, who cares lol. check bme for pics of eyebrow piercings.

I had two bars in my left eyebrow, and got a lot of compliments from the opposite sex about them (and some from the same sex... >_<). Mine took about a month to heal to where they weren't sore. I had them in for about 8 months, took them out in the shower and forgot to put them back in, and the next day they were closed. Just a warning.

 

yeah they seem to close up fast.

This is the second time I've had my eyebrow pierced.

First go around I had an eyebrow piercing and a lip piercing (snake bite), took them out for a 6 hour shift at work, tried to put them back in when I got off in the bathroom and they were already closed up.

 

ouch, that sux... does this mean i won't be able to take it off for a few hours if i need to?

 

absolutely not.

especially not right after you get it.
