I was just playing around and I want to know what you think...

I decided to be a self proclaimed photographer yesterday and I was wondering what everyone thought of the photos that I took. Normally I'm a painter, so I tried to have some artistic flair with my photography. PLEASE let me know what you think:

they look mediocre to me, i didnt care for the angles in the first couple and the one of the half face isnt creative at all if that was its intent..
the last two have a blur to them. the only one i cared for was 15.
all in all i would say they are amateur at best..

 

no, man, they look alright to me. some of them have good angles on them, but some are a bit blurry. you're on your way. just keep taking pictures. as long as you enjoy it, your art is your art. if you're happy with it, and it means something to you, no matter how amateur it is, it's still great.

 

I agree with spooky. As long as you're having fun with it and it means something to you then it's good ! If someone says your pics look amateur don't feel bad about it because everyone has to start somehwere. Keep working at it and have fun =]
