(I wrote this a long time ago..) The days are long, Life is short, Love is precious, Love is true, Listen closely and it could find you, Search the words, As they untwine, Who knows what mysteries you may find... (this also was written a long while ago) You make my life worth living, You make my heat beat, You are the world which I aspire to revolve around, You are the one, You are the only one I could ever love in the way which I do, For it is you that is my heart's desire. Within the dark shadows of my heart, The torch's glow reveals your face. Within the dungeon of my soul, The corridors echo with your laughter. Within the castle walls of my resolve, Your tender caress sets them ablaze. Within the misty forest of my memories, Your soft wet kisses call my name. Within my daydreams of tomorrow, We sleep in each other's arms. And within my wildest wishes, you claim me to be yours (this won me £10,000 a while ago, hope you like) If Roses were raindrops I would Send you showers, if Hugs were minutes I would Send you hours, if Kisses ere water I would send you the sea, and if love was a person I would Send u me. For some reason i don't know why? that i brake down and cry i just can't handle life today and i don't wanna live this way my friend are never their for me and always make me sad and this has gone on for so long that i am that damn mad i really want my life to change and have fun again so i can live happilly to the very end. Whisper this - I love you, At the back of a sleeping girl. Whisper this - I love you, At the flank of a sleeping world. Whisper this - I love you, At grey light spreading across the window. Whisper this - I love you, At the arrival of another morrow. Now Whisper I love you At the very center of your chest And mean it, Feel it. Brother, sister, I said Whisper, scream, shout, sing it - This "I Love You" thing - To your children And let us see what better songs They may come to sing. this is mainly just an out burst of feeling nothing special.. Why do all good thing have to end? Why do we not take chances?? Why do we not say or do the things that would make us happiest? Why do I talk to you, and only you?? Why do I trst you more than any one every befor? Why do I Love you so?? Why cant we be together? But most importantly do you feel the same?? What do you think of me????? Death is but a state of mind, A state of perpetual beeing, A state of emptyness and longing, Death is but a fact, Yet we chose to worry, We chose to obay the minority bound to religion, A slave to society, A slave to life, So I do not Fear Death, Death is just a fact. Im not afraid of dieing, Im afraid of tomorrow, Watching you walk away never to come back, You swore to me your heart and soul, I swore to you mine, Two as one we said, But we did not see the sign, It was inevitable you werent wrought for me, We lay together in your bed, But now we'r done. There is no you and me.
I'm surprising myself today. I keep finding good poets. I like what you have written, every one of them. Keep posting whether it's in this specific thread or not. I'm sure you will gain quite a following.
I went for a walk today, down to the river, i wrote these: I write love poems, True to the heart, I stand in this field and ponder where to start, The suns are back, back again, To warm the hearts and souls of men, I pace on down, down to the tree, The tree where it began for you and me, Across the fence along the path, In the shade I now stand, Where I walked with you hand in hand, It comes in to view the sight behold, Over the fence I'm home at last, This is where it began where we wrote our past, I come to find myself again, Under the tree the letters told, Lowri and Luke our love, behold, Now I come to sit beneath our tree, How far we have come you and me, Now I must end this poem with a sweet goodbye, As I rise to my feet and let out a sigh… Out here tonight, The skies are bright, The air is fresh clean, and calm, I tread the open ground, As I move without a sound, The sun is ebbing its final rays, I skulk along off in to the haze, The shimmering light sets the skies ablaze, On I wonder, As this thought I do ponder, Why can’t it all be like this so simple and serine, With the air so fresh and clean, Alone at last alone to drift, As through the sands of time I do sift, Through the grass laden with dew, I come to a river it waters a deep blue, I gaze at the waters so soft and serene Down by the river I lie, Amongst the long grass water and rhie, A spider dances on its web, On the water flows, ebb by ebb, In the field now striding on through, As I listen to the birds song so sweet and true. I love her she knows it’s true, Our love shines on through and through, Her gleaming aura dazzles me here, It draws me in and holds me dear, I hear her voice so soft and light, I pray with her I’ll be this very night. i hope you like these
