http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/06/03/election.democrats/index.html Hillary Clinton will concede tonight, effectivly ending the primary season and making Barack Obama the Democratic nominee.
Well, the democrats are gonna have a real tough time,I would be surprised if Obama would be elected.Hillary would have handily beaten McCain.Sorry but far too many Americans will reluctant to vote for a black for pres.,any other office yes,President no.
and McCain wins... i saw this article last night just TRASHING obama.. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/06/02/opinion/main4145761.shtml when the main stream media begins there attacks you know he's toast....
Thats weird that you can predict that given that the article maintains that your incorrect. And polls thus far have shown people will vote for Obama. I think our country is ready. If Robert Byrd can, I can too.
Well,at least McCain is not the monster Bush is.Or maybe something will change the whole situation,we shall see.
i dont believe polls i rely on my knowledge of americans mindsets as a whole.. if this years primaries have proven anything its that polls DONT MEAN SHIT!!! btw,, i found the article and edited my last post to add it.. im sure its the first of MANY to come now that he will be the nominee...
heh... not so quick... http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080603/pl_nm/usa_politics_dc;_ylt=AhPyHyNNFpQGcn_whs.sx4as0NUE I wish she would just give up and stop beating a dead horse!
I just hope Obama doesn't pick Hillary as his VP. She will just do to him what she did to Vince Foster. I don't see why Obama is so unpopular here. He's for decrimilizing Marijuana, he's for a healthcare plan that's realistic, he's for ending the war and starting a dialogue with our so-called enemies, etc. Maybe he's lying, I don't know. But let's at least give him a chance. I like not having to vote for "the lesser of two evils" for once.
well for starters,,he has ties to the tri lateral commission, the council on foreign relations, his economic adviser was/is a member of skull and bones,he is related to cheney and bush as well as a direct descendant of british royalty(as the rest are),his mentor is,Zbigniew Brzezinski(also the co founder of the TLC).. if you would like i can continue expounding evidence that he is just another puppet for the oligarchy who controls this administration and every administration preceding it for the last 100 years... but, that is reason enough for me to not support him...
That's a shame that you think people are still racist and bigoted enough to vote based on race still. I don't belive it, at least not where I am.
did i ever say anything about race? its a shame that your so fixated on race and bigotry that you assumed from my comments that that is what i was referring to....

I was writing about forrealz comment i think I hit the wrong quote button... goddamn your wound up tight!
So what your saying is that hes part of a citizen group that gets together high ranking officials for unofficial talks, his economics advisor went to Yale, and George W. Bush and Obama, are 10th cousins once removed - linked through a 17th century Massachusetts couple, Samuel Hinckley and Sarah Soole, according to the Sun-Times. Barack Obama narrowly edges out John McCain in his claim to royal ancestry. According to one unverified blog I've come across, the hesperos.blogspot.com, Senator Obama is a direct descendant of both William I of Scotland (1198-1249) and Henry II of England (1133-1189) while Senator McCain is also a direct descendant of William I of Scotland. Hilary Rodham Clinton apparently has no direct royal antecedents, although she is a 10th cousin of Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall (Prince Charles' 2nd wife). Elsewhere, I've discovered that Senator Obama and President George W. Bush are 11th cousins while Obama and Vice President Dick Cheney are 9th cousins, once removed. Lynne Cheney publicized her husband's kinship with Obama in October 2007. Obama, incidentally, is an American of Kenyan, English, Scottish, Irish, French, German, and Dutch descent. Now seriously. Are you full Native American hillbilly? Who knows who you can be tied too. Man maybe I should fire all the people who work at my job who are 20th cousins to Hitler... I don't want that guy working for me!
I think the media has been playing the playing the race card, when race should really be a non issue. There are 2 ways to play it,either putting someone up on a pedestal because of race,or putting them down-I've seen both happen. As far as people, there is still a segment of the US population that might not vote a black in as Pres.I think it is unfortunate, but true.
I will tell you what will almost guarantee a victory by Obama. If Obama took a very hard stand against illegal immigrants--but thats not going to happen.
