The amount of time my mom spends in front of the tv is only half of what i spend online, and she gives me shit for being on the computer all the time.

yay, i am not alone and yeah.. it's better than my old life too, to an extent.. after all the crazy shit that happened this past weekend i decided i'm going to be more of a homebody now, and well internet is better than tv.

Same here, I can't stand to just be sitting there doing somthing non-interactive. The only thing I bother watching is discovery, PBS and the simpsons\family guy\futurama.

 

Internet is better than TV. Way better.

 

same here lol i prefer internet cos im talkin to my friends on msn mostly as oposed to tv where i just get bored real fast

hah! Wait till one of you starts playing a mmorpg. You'll be hooked on that shit so damn fast. It'll literally consume every facet of your life, oblitrating anything that could have possibly been considered a real life. I think the problem with mmorpgs is that they combine the social forum/chat atmosphere with a great game, and they become too addictive. Look at evercrack. That shit has just gone too far

I get shit about it to... Doesn't make sense, I know people who sit in front of their TVs way more than I do the internet, and at least I can interact with the internet, do multiple things, hell even learn stuff occasionally... TV you just sit there...
